Declare as "Analytical Reference Material for Laboratory Testing" or "Chemical Sample for Quality Analysis." We provide a pre-formatted customs declaration template upon order confirmation. Value: declare actual testing fee or sample value under $50 USD.
Declare as "Analytical Reference Standard" or "Chemical Sample for Testing." Indian customs may require a GST-related export declaration — we provide guidance. Ship from a business address for smoother clearance.
Declare as "Analytical Reference Material — Not for Human Use." No special export license required for RUO compounds shipped for analytical testing. Include your KORECOA sample ID on the customs form.
Declare as "Chemical Reference Standard for Analytical Testing." EU export regulations for RUO analytical samples are straightforward. Include CN22/CN23 customs declaration form with your KORECOA sample ID.
We accept samples from Australia, Canada, Southeast Asia, Middle East, South America, and Africa. Declare as "Analytical Reference Material for Laboratory Testing." Contact us before shipping from countries with strict chemical export controls — we can advise on documentation requirements.
After you place an order, we provide everything you need for smooth customs clearance into South Korea.
Pre-formatted declaration with correct HS codes, descriptions, and values for Korean customs. Available in English, Chinese (中文), and Korean (한국어).
Official KORECOA letter confirming the sample is being imported for analytical testing purposes under Korean customs regulations for reference materials.
Pre-addressed shipping labels with our Seoul intake facility address, sample ID barcode, and handling instructions in Korean and English.
If your shipment is held at Korean customs, our team handles clearance directly. We have established relationships with Incheon customs brokers.
Ensure vials are capped tightly. Wrap raw powder in parafilm or seal in a zip-lock bag. Liquid samples should be in leak-proof containers.
Surround the sample with bubble wrap or foam padding. The sample should not move freely inside the outer packaging.
Use a small cardboard box or padded envelope. For liquid samples, double-bag in sealed plastic before placing in the outer container.
Attach the KORECOA shipping label to the outside. Write your sample ID visibly on both the inner sample container and outer packaging. Include a printed copy of your order confirmation inside.
If your compound requires cold storage, include an ice pack or use an insulated mailer. Note "Temperature Sensitive" on the outer label. Most lyophilized peptides are stable at room temperature for transit.
We handle it. Our team works with established customs brokers at Incheon International Airport. If your shipment is flagged, we contact customs directly, provide documentation, and resolve clearance. You don't need to do anything. Most customs holds are resolved within 24–48 hours.
Yes — this is our most popular workflow. After you place an order, we provide shipping instructions that you can forward directly to your Chinese or Indian manufacturer. They ship a sample to Seoul while your bulk order is in production. You get the COA before your shipment arrives.
For research-use-only (RUO) compounds, no special export license is required in most countries. The samples are classified as analytical reference materials, not pharmaceuticals. Our customs declaration templates use the correct HS codes and descriptions. If you're unsure about your country's regulations, contact us and we'll advise.
Shipping is at the sender's expense. Typical costs: $20–40 from China (SF Express), $30–50 from India (DHL), $40–60 from US/EU (FedEx/DHL). Vendor account holders with 10+ monthly samples can access our corporate DHL rate for discounted shipping.
Absolutely. Bundle multiple samples in a single package to save on shipping. Label each sample container individually with its KORECOA sample ID. We'll route each to the appropriate partner lab and issue separate COAs for each.
Remaining sample material is retained for 90 days in case a re-test is requested, then disposed of per Korean laboratory waste regulations. If you need the remaining sample returned, we can arrange return shipping at your expense (contact us before submission).
